Here Kitty Kitty...

Ok, So a picture tells a thousand words. Having said that I would like to announce a Picture contest!
The "Create a new MOAG species" contest. All you have to do is create a picture of an orriginal creature any way you would like, and post it on the blog with a brief description. The winning Species will be added into the MOAG hall of Species, and featured in an upcoming game of MOAG!
Please, no pictures of Chuck Noris.

MOAG General History-ish-ness

Hey Just a quick post/question, I was wondering if those of you... namely shadowwire.... or anyone who has played MOAG more than three times, if you could post or send me an email with the general history of the MOAG universe, like maybe a little about each race and specifically the Canara invasion of earth... Could you do that for me?
Thanks, :)

Here come the Bots...

The infamous Bot Family*

Well, it seems like Bot's got cousins, nephews, brothers, sisters, you name it, they're coming out of the woodwork.  Which is great for the MOAG blog.  As Squirrell noted in an earlier post, all this recent activity has made the blog the place to be.  Or at least peruse.

All of these newcomers leads me to ask the question, is there some MOAGin' goin' on?  I know the destructive effects of Rock Band 2, but MOAG needs to be played, and played often.  Shadowwire is like the tree from the O'Henry story, "The Last Leaf".   He only has so much left, and everytime MOAG is not played, a small part of him dies.   That's why he can't gain weight.

Anyway, welcome to the fold, Bot family.  And may the rest of your relatives join up as soon as you can convince them to sleep in Bot's garage, cause he's got to be running out of room in that house with all them nieces and nephews over there.

*The picture above is niether infamous nor the bot family.  Any similarity is strictly coincidental.

The Tank Squad

Well since everyone is posting art... I guess I will too, JK! I just have to post some so that my sister, Phantom, doesn't get too cocky because of her totally awesome drawings... Eehem! I mean not so good drawings... LOL JK! They're all awesome but I felt left out so here's a drawing of Reytak, Honk, and "a thicker" BarĂ¡. All together in cool tech armor. Hope you all like 'em!

Emptying the sketchbook...

Well, it's taken a long time, but I've finally filled my sketchbook.  It's mostly filled with very rough doodles, but some of the stuff turned out rather nice.  I'm going to put a few MOAG related pieces here, but if you want to see the best of the rest, then check out my design blog.

Here's a quick sketch of Atrius.  I think this is like 3 years old.

Here's a sketch I did of an old Military General, possibly the Major from my story that I posted... or not.

And lastly, here's the sketch for the Conara God of War... which reminds me, I need to finish that...

Well, there you have it.  I hope to start getting some more drawing time, but due to some freelance options coming, that might not happen until this summer.  Oh well, we'll see what I can come up with.

Introduction of a Phantom

The silence was so great that one could almost hear the very mist roll across the hallowed ground. A Cheshire grin of a moon shone lazily in the sky, illuminating the graveyard in a soft glow… And then! Suddenly! With a crack of a scream, a hand lunged forth from the ground, breaking the soil about it and declaring that all the residents of this place may not be as dead as they should be. The decaying hand searched the surface that it had just discovered and wandered over to a laptop, laying forsaken on the cemetery ground due to the power of convenience.

The one hand sticking from the ground started typing excitedly on the forlorn technology, when, out of the blue, a shovel came and struck down the hand!

“Back off. This is my computer time.” Phantom Gravedigger said with a slight growl as the hand retreated back into the ground and while the sound of a pathetic undead whimpering was heard from below. She then slung the shovel, the ultimate weapon of course, across her back, picked up the laptop and walked over to a recently dug, and empty, grave. The eccentric mortician then proceeded to sit in the grave and type herself up an interesting and cheesy way of introducing herself on the M.O.A.G. blog. Hence, what you’re reading right now. Unless, of course, you have some form of telepathy or clairvoyance or such, and know what this says without reading this. In that case, good for you.

Ahem… Anyways, I’m Phantom Gravedigger. I’m related to, like, half the people here, and new at M.O.A.G. And, sorry for my noobness, but I’m going to spam the heck out of you with some sketches I did while playing last Friday. Note: En’viere is not epic in any way, shape, or form. She’s just there to look pretty. Kind of to balance out the hideousness of the rest of our team, I guess. The last picture is unfinished, btw. And sorry for the crappiness of the quality, my photoshop's not working.
