To Clarify, In MOAG there are a lot of different starship designations. However, the deffinitions vary greatly between millitaries. Even today Ship classifications are not an exact science. There are lots of different types of ships, each with their own pourpose and designation.
To list a few,
Patrol vessels
Gunboats
Torpedo Boats
Corvettes
Friggates, or Destroyer Escorts
Destroyers
Cruisers
Carriers
Battleships
Battlecruisers
Cutters
MS Trawlers
AWS Trawlers
Flotilla Leaders
Escort Carriers
Minelayers
Destroyer Tenders
Sloops
Oilers
Anti Aircraft Cruisers
Vehichle Landing Ships
Coastal Defense Ships
Boom Defense Vessels
Depot Ships
Repair Ships
Salvage Vessels
Dock Landers
Net Tenders
High Speed Transports
Tugs
Rescue Tugs
Submarines
And even more!
Dreadnaughts, Capitol Ships, and even Merchant vessels, Not to mention the "heavy" or "Light" Description on many.
As you can see, many ships fit into more than one class, and some of these classes may not fit into MOAG. However you may say, "What the heck is a AWS Trawler and how does it fit into MOAG?".Well, a Trawler typicaly pulls a set of towed Sensors for one perpose or annother. Some Warships in MOAG have the capability to launch a sensor Beacon, or tow a Decoy, somewhat reminiscent of modern Trawlers.
Anyway, seems i've run on long enuph for one Post.
C-ya.

Ignore the Picture, Originaly I was going to say something about how starships travel and How the computers have to adjust for the movement of all things universal, but I didnt, and I wont.
Too late, it can't be ignored. So explain it.
Oh and nice ship list... even if uh some of those would definitely not be in any space military. :P
YOU WOULD BE!!!
Love the pic, as well as the list.
I'm offended that it wasn't my post.
