But I finally got that processor fan, so I have currently the most powerful computer in the room. :)
1.4GHz (Beats 1.0 in my pentuim 3)
1gb 256mb DDR RAM (Beats 512mb in the pentuim 3)
ATI All-in-Wonder 2006 256mb (Beats whatever on-board crap I had by a TON)
So now, I'll complain a lot less about not having a good computer, and more about not having battlefield 2 :).

Whoa! At first I thought I'd stumbled onto some retro Computer Blog! Ahh, but no. (whew!) Its just Squirel's machine specs...
I gotta say Squirel, I've been using my old AMD Athelon 2800 with a Geforce 5700 and two gigs of ram for the last five years, and was just thinking how much I need to get a new System. Well, after reading your comment, I think I'll be fine for a few more months.
Thanks for puting it all into perspective.
You rock.
I hear people complaining about their "crappy laptop", and wish I had something that powerful.
...... I won't tell ya what I got.
lol. I'm just happy not to be stuck with my pentium 3 anymore.
The motherboard can handle up to an Athlon 2600+, which is a bit more than 2GHz, so if I have enough money, I might get one.
West, your computer is good except for the processor. If you got a nice dual core, it would be fine.
Too old for dual core.
Yeah, I didn't expect it to. If it did, it would have one already. I'm just saying that that's the main issue with it. If you want to get a nice 64-bit system, I'm not stopping you. 8gb+ DDR3 would be great. Along with a 1gb-2gb video card would be fantastic. If you're willing to put at least 1800 bucks into it, you'll get a great system.
The system I built for Tony only cost $1400 and has 8gb-ddr3 dual 9800GTX running in SLI and a Quad Core. Trust me, If I thought I needed it, I would have a sweet system.
