OMG!!! Bot Still Plays Vidja Games? Duh.

Well, it's been a while since I have done my video game pick of the moment and I thought I would resurrect it for old times sake. So, without further ado, my number 1 game of all time... for this moment is...

.... What? You're not surprised?

Anyway, I love me some Rock Band and put a 4 behind it and I love it even more. Just kidding about the adding numbers part. Look, Harmonix knows how to make rhythm games and now that they are back to being their own company, not owned by anyway, they got back to fundamentals. No more keyboard, no more pro guitar and no more figurines of your characters that you can buy for way too much money.

It's back to being Rock Band and when I say Rock Band I mean Rock Band 1. The one that got me addicted. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not the same game and there are some things that I do miss (Ion, I'm looking in your direction) and one of them is the amazing character creator from Rock Band 3, but is the game really about making your character look awesome?! Well, yes and no. It was fun spending time looking through all the crap stuff to find that one accessory that made your character AMAZING, but we (as DBS) spent hours playing RB4 on the first night I got it over to Mr. Wire's house.

RB4 is not a step back either, by any means. Putting it on the current Gen (I got mine on XBOX -719) gave them the ability to put some amazing things on it that I don't think they could've done on the legacy gen. The vocal freestyle mode is so much fun. The game gives you lines on the vocal track that are pitches that are in the key of the song and if you can sing on those lines then you get adlib bonuses and can keep your multiplier alive with it. It's fun to just bust out and try new things on songs that are my favorites.

Plus, guitar (wait for it.........) freestyle solos!!!! Yep, they give you guides during all the solos for the guitar tracks and you can follow along with them to keep your multiplier up or you can just freak out and play amazing guitar solos of your own. Nuff said.

Anyway, if you get a chance to try this game out, DO IT!!!! NOW!!!!

That is all, Bot out... again.

P.S. Ion, I'm not looking in your direction as much now. I got a mod off the interwebs that allowed me to use the crappy starter drum set as my drum brain for the Drum Rockers and it's wireless now. So, you're not going to acknowledge the owners of the Drum Rockers, then I'm just going behind your back. Thanks anyway. :-D

Gargonan Language Add On

West suggested that I do an English to Gargonan portion of the dictionary so here is the beginning of that. It is far from complete and is not in true alphabetical order. If you get bored, you can help me with that. This one I will make editable if you message me. Comments are active for all.

Thanks again everyone and enjoy.

Bot out.

STILL WANNA BE A SPACEMAN

A late birfday present for Xzebo of Lagarto annealing (I actually have no clue how you spell that) to an INVISIBLE WALL. And also probably saying "And I love YOU, random citizen."

Anyway, happy birthday!

Really hope you're not dead, Lagarto...

12.7.15

Amaa'xzai my friends, Amaa'xzai.

[ Begin video file upload]

*Lagarto walks on screen, dressed in his usual lab coat.*

Ahem, well this is awkward... How do I begin... I guess I'll just say it.

I'm dead.

*Lagarto looks around the Med-Lab which is empty at the moment, except for Vala in her play pen, then sighs*

I guess I should get the formalities out of the way.

My name is Lagarto Kaales Axio-Midaen Senvoaceus Cuma-Kai-Raeirais Laagri-Jenalma Dexuram Niivedii-Desiimer Amaa'xzai Cinza, and this is my last will and testament.

I took this video after my last near death experience with several fusion blocks. I was forced to acknowledge my own mortality, my own frailty... I have not been the same since, My brain is broken, and I feel less, things I know I knew are gone. But you all have never treated my differently, for that I am grateful.

I took this video then programmed a dead mans switch to automatically upload this video if my personal IFF didn't return to the ship after a while.

*Lagarto walks around the Med-Lab lost in thought for a second or two then turns back to the camera*

Anywho, for anyone who knows me well knows I follow the old Macaneon tradition of name-gathering. In this culture some names are self appointed, some are given, and some can only be earned by someone who already has that name. But one name, in all the names, is unique. It cannot be earned, given or obtained while in this life.

That name is Amaa'xzai.

This name has no direct translation. If you say this to a Macaneon it invokes a feeling. A feeling that says "mourn me not, I have passed beyond the troubles of this existence." The name then is placed next to the last name, superseding all other names except the family name, cause the only thing more powerful than death... is family.

*Lagarto looks right at the camera and smiles a big dorky smile*

You all are my family.

As such I bequeath all of my titles, rights, privileges, debts and possessions to the Aegis and it's crew, in care of and usable only by permission of Captain Amadeus Edwards... with a few exceptions.

*Lagarto gets really excited and starts pulling out items as he talks about them*

Now onto the fun stuff!  LOOT!

Firstly to my children:
To Squidy Cinza I give my cybernetic database and materials, I have left schematics for upgrades if that is the path you wish to take. The reason I never upgraded you more is because I didn't think you needed them, You are more unique and can make yourself more powerful than I ever could.
*Lagarto walks over and picks up Vala*
To Qi du Va'alai, my little Vala, I give you my swords, I feel it fitting that the only artifacts I can and do use, go to you. I leave them in the care of Qee du Kai, to render to you once you are of age to use them, with the expectation that he will teach you how along the way.
*Lagarto puts Vala down*
Kids, never fear what you are, you are unique and beautiful. Never be ashamed of that, I love you.

Next to my brothers and sister:
To Reytak I give the contents of my armory and the contact information of Lag, if you need anymore upgrades, he's the guy you should see.
To Qee Don Kin I give my unfinished experiments, you're the only one I can trust to finish them.
To Selidor I give my blessing, may you and Aegis find joy.
To Honk... I give... ME!... well my body that is. And you better damn well use my body to punch a hole in the face of whoever did me in!
To Saarra, I give you two things, firstly... Hope. You are more than ones and zeros, more than code and protocol. I am sure of it. I feel it. Second I give you the Long Lag, There's no better rifle out there. I have only one request, It doesn't matter where you are, on the ship or in battle, but every time the gun extends, please think of some terribly inappropriate innuendo.

And last to my BFF.
Amadeus, I don't give you anything, because everything I have came because you gave me a place. There is no possession I have to repay that. You gave me home and family, with no expectation of anything in return. I feel like a dick, but I really have nothing that even begins to make up for lost friendship, So I guess I leave a request, fight the powers that be and make this universe awesome and unboring!

*Lagarto puts away everything, then turns to the camera*
Well! I guess that's that!
Remember, mourn me not, for I pass beyond the troubles of this existence.

*Lagarto winks at the camera*

Amaa'xzai my friends, Amaa'xzai.

Well looky here...

Well hello there!  It's been awhile, and this is more just a notice to let you all know that yes, I am still alive.

Anyway, the image is an attempt at designing the MOAG book, one I started last year some time, but ran out of steam - got too busy - am generally lazy when I'm not at work (which at the moment is about 70 hours a week).

I like the style, and I have a table of contents page and a few more pages, but I'll try to start getting something together over the summer.

The logo is a mix of the Conara logo, a spaceship, and Shredder.

Here's some more sketches that I've done recently.

Here's a Klisk.  I like this one, and I think I'm going to do a paint over on it.

Here's a random gallery of some faces I've drawn.

I'm really into the black and white pens on colored paper.  I like being able to do highlights and shadows.  Anyway, they were all fun to draw, and there are a few MOAG dudes in there amongst the comic folk.  I do like the stylized Klisk in the bottom corner... maybe I'll mix the two.

Anyway, I'll try to post more. I'm trying to draw more often, and this might give me a reason to do it.

If you've ever wondered, how do Admirals in the Conar come to be Admirals, keep reading.
First to preface a little, The Conar Empire is ruled by Warlords in a kind of feudal system. Each Warlord or "Admiral" commands his own area as he sees fit. In his area he is the supreme power. Having said that, the power of the Conar comes from Admirals working together. There are Thousands of Admirals each commanding his own area, and trading with other Admirals for Personnel, Equipment, recreation or anything else they may need.
About 300 years ago a group of Admirals retired to the home world decided that it would be advantageous  to have an governmental entity to quantify and organize the Empire's forces and help the Admirals to be better prepared. Over time this group has grown From what started as "Home Sector Security" to What is now known as "Upper Command". Home Sector Security is still there, only it has been directed by Upper Command; a group of retired Admirals who choose their own members.
So to finally get to the point, To become an Admiral one of two things must happen. First an Admiral can be "Elected" or "Appointed" by at least ten other Admirals. Their territory would be given them by one or more Admirals, or come from a dead Admiral. Secondly, Upper Command has given themselves authority to appoint Admirals. Most often the new Admiral is given territory that has been divided from other Admirals areas. There is a heated debate among the hierarchy whether Upper Command has the authority to do this.
  More on this later.

OK, So many of you have seen this crude picture before. It is a list of the rank insignia's for the Conar Empire.
Having said that, My post will be the first in a long while. Hopefully this will jump start something; probably not a car. Anyway I would love to hear if anyone has MOAG or even non-MOAG stuff to say... As long as its interesting.
Also, the MOAG google drive is available. If anyone wants access to it, let me know. It contains all the rules, maps and other information to play. And, if you cant find something that seems important on the drive, let me know. Thanks. You guys rock!
