Well looky here...

Well hello there!  It's been awhile, and this is more just a notice to let you all know that yes, I am still alive.

Anyway, the image is an attempt at designing the MOAG book, one I started last year some time, but ran out of steam - got too busy - am generally lazy when I'm not at work (which at the moment is about 70 hours a week).

I like the style, and I have a table of contents page and a few more pages, but I'll try to start getting something together over the summer.

The logo is a mix of the Conara logo, a spaceship, and Shredder.

Here's some more sketches that I've done recently.

Here's a Klisk.  I like this one, and I think I'm going to do a paint over on it.

Here's a random gallery of some faces I've drawn.

I'm really into the black and white pens on colored paper.  I like being able to do highlights and shadows.  Anyway, they were all fun to draw, and there are a few MOAG dudes in there amongst the comic folk.  I do like the stylized Klisk in the bottom corner... maybe I'll mix the two.

Anyway, I'll try to post more. I'm trying to draw more often, and this might give me a reason to do it.

If you've ever wondered, how do Admirals in the Conar come to be Admirals, keep reading.
First to preface a little, The Conar Empire is ruled by Warlords in a kind of feudal system. Each Warlord or "Admiral" commands his own area as he sees fit. In his area he is the supreme power. Having said that, the power of the Conar comes from Admirals working together. There are Thousands of Admirals each commanding his own area, and trading with other Admirals for Personnel, Equipment, recreation or anything else they may need.
About 300 years ago a group of Admirals retired to the home world decided that it would be advantageous  to have an governmental entity to quantify and organize the Empire's forces and help the Admirals to be better prepared. Over time this group has grown From what started as "Home Sector Security" to What is now known as "Upper Command". Home Sector Security is still there, only it has been directed by Upper Command; a group of retired Admirals who choose their own members.
So to finally get to the point, To become an Admiral one of two things must happen. First an Admiral can be "Elected" or "Appointed" by at least ten other Admirals. Their territory would be given them by one or more Admirals, or come from a dead Admiral. Secondly, Upper Command has given themselves authority to appoint Admirals. Most often the new Admiral is given territory that has been divided from other Admirals areas. There is a heated debate among the hierarchy whether Upper Command has the authority to do this.
  More on this later.

OK, So many of you have seen this crude picture before. It is a list of the rank insignia's for the Conar Empire.
Having said that, My post will be the first in a long while. Hopefully this will jump start something; probably not a car. Anyway I would love to hear if anyone has MOAG or even non-MOAG stuff to say... As long as its interesting.
Also, the MOAG google drive is available. If anyone wants access to it, let me know. It contains all the rules, maps and other information to play. And, if you cant find something that seems important on the drive, let me know. Thanks. You guys rock!
